What is Roots?
Roots is a small tutoring company who specializes in working 1:1 with students who have special needs in the comfort of your own home! Roots special needs tutoring works with students who have learning difficulties such as ADHD (both the non-attentive and hyperactive subtypes), dyslexia and students who may just not be able to keep up in the typical classroom setting. Why Roots?
Unlike other academic tutoring companies who accept certain students with special needs into their program, Roots actually specializes in tutoring students with special needs and/or learning difficulties! That means our mindset is on a completely different page than typical tutoring companies. We are energetic about learning, teach multi-sensory study and learning techniques, teach students how to set goals, teach students how to work to their strengths and tutor students according to school curriculum in a 1:1 setting. We don’t just tolerate students with special needs, we exist for the sake of helping these students and absolutely love doing so!
